Christmas spirit came to life at the DEMO’s premises in Kryoneri, Attica, where the Company’s Christmas Celebration took place with guests the younger family members of DEMO, its employee’s children.

Delicacy, music, balloons, experimental laboratory, chef’s kitchens, magicians, dance groups and -of course- children’s favorite cartoon heroes, kept the interest of the young guests steady, while, at the end of the celebration, Santa Clause handed out gifts to the children and spread enthusiasm.

Within the Christmas spirit, the celebration could only have a senior cause, always focusing on children. This Christmas, DEMO’s employees decided to actively support refugees’ children, who daily put their lives in danger in order to cross the Aegean Sea, in search for a better life, far away from war. During the celebration, children’s clothing and shoes as well as blankets and other essentials gathered in order to be sent, with the aid of the Greek Red Cross, in the islands of Lesvos, Kos, Samos and Chios, which, throughout these recent months, accommodate tens of thousands of refugees.

Children’s clothes, shoes, blankets and the rest of the collected items will be sent, in cooperation with the Greek Red Cross, to the refugee’s host islands before Christmas, so that children receive a message of warmth, optimism and love for the New Year.
